こういった背景の中，空調システム運用の大きな課題として不具合があげられる。不具合検知・診断は，性能検証過程において不可欠な検証項目の1つである。不具合があれば，空調システムを構成する要素機器やサブシステムが期待通りの動作をせず，本来のシステム性能を満足しなくなる。こういった不具合は，ほとんどの空調システムで多かれ少なかれ生じていると思われるが，日常運転の中でそれらが迅速に発見されることはほとんどない。この間のエネルギー消費とコストの増分は無駄な浪費であり，室内環境の悪化も招いていることが近年の調査で明らかになっている1）。しかしながら，こういった不具合を検知し診断するツールの開発状況は極めて不十分で，実用に供されていないのが実情である。
本研究の目的は，空調システムへの導入が容易な知識ベース手法に基づく不具合検知・診断ツールを開発することであり，本報ではその基礎段階として，ある空調システムを対象とした不具合検知・診断のプロトタイプツールを構築し，そのツールの有効性をシミュレーションにより明らかにしたものである。

Under these circumstances, major tasks, such as how to deal with its problems to manage air conditioning system still remain. Problem detection /diagnosis is one of necessary test items on commissioning process. System problem not only does not permit main devices / sub-systems of air conditioning systems to suitably function, but also original system functions do not achieve it. Although almost all air conditioning systems have their own problems to a greater or lesser extent, it is hard to promptly find them in daily basis. Energy consumptions and increased costs during this period are not only meaningless wastes, but also leading to deteriorate room environments recent survey showed1）. Development of a tool to detect / diagnose is, however, extremely insufficient without ability to use practically. The purpose of this study is to develop a detection / diagnosis tool for the system problem based on a knowledge base method with property to easily apply it to air conditioning systems. And, after its prototype tool was created as a basic stage, its effectiveness was clarified in this report by using a simulation.
